David K. Marchetti is an Additive Manufacturing Engineer with 12 years of hands-on experience in FDM/FFF 3D printing, from prototype iteration to production-grade functional parts. Beginning with a RepRap Mendel in 2014, he has operated and calibrated over 30 consumer and professional 3D printers across Bambu Lab, Prusa, Creality, Anycubic, and Voron platforms — developing an empirical understanding of how temperature, retraction, speed, and material interact to produce (or ruin) a print.
After years of watching makers struggle with the same problem — "what temperature do I set for this filament on this printer?" — David founded Print Profiles Hub to create a single, searchable database of community-tested slicer profiles. As the founder and lead curator of Print Profiles Hub, David oversees profile submission review, data verification, and editorial policy. He reviews community submissions within 5 business days and publishes only profiles with confirmed print results.
